Summer Learning Journey | Nano girl experiment

Today I have created an anti gravity cup to see if the water would leak when a piece of paper was attached to the bottom.

First I watched a video so that I know what I have to do.

Next I created my own gravity. I needed a cup and a piece of paper that was bigger than the hole.

Lastly I took a photo of my cup and pasted on a google drawing.

I found this activity easy because I have done this before.

  1. Kia ora Chisa,

It’s Shannon from the Summer Learning Journey.

Nice job on the anti-gravity experiment! You nailed it, and did a great job on your blog post too. I like the picture you have included as well as the explanation of what happened and why you found it easy! It’s a neat trick isn’t it!

When I was little, my dad showed me that trick! It was magical. He also showed me another cool anti gravity one regarding centripetal force. He put water in a bucket, and spun it in a vertical circle and it didn’t fall out! The pressure of the water went to the bottom of the bucket so nothing leaked. He didn’t get a drip on him! How cool!

Do you know any other cool experiments?

    Happy blogging!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
