Today for the third task I have done a Maori task.
First I watched a video so I can understand what I have to do.
Next I created a Maori sentence of "What are you doing today?" I also did this for all four slides.
I found listening to the Moari audio hard because it had words that sounded the same.
Kia ora Chisa,
ReplyDeleteFiona here from the Summer Learning Journey.
It’s great to see all your blogs of the different summer learning journey activities. Ka pai! I hope you are enjoying the summer so far.
Great job rearranging the te reo Māori kupu (words) and finishing the sentence. It can be tricky learning a new language and listening to words that are unfamiliar. What other activities do you like to do on the school holidays? Kau kau (swim?) or maybe tākaro whutupōro (play football?).
Keep up the great blogging!
Ngā mihi nui,
Fiona (SLJ).
Kia Ora Fiona,
DeleteThank you for replying to my blog post! Other activities I do at home are drawing, practicing tennis, and playing piano. Have you ever done these things before? If not what do you do in the school holidays?

ReplyDeleteKia ora Chisa,
ReplyDeleteWow - you get up to such cool activities after school! It is great to be able to play a musical instrument. I play the flute and like to use YouTube to practice drawing new things. I have tried tennis but found it really tricky - I missed hitting the ball a lot!
On the holidays I spend as much time as I can in my vegetable garden - I'm growing pumpkins at the moment for the first time (-:
Looking forward to seeing your blogs next week!
Fiona
