Summer Learning Journey | 3D paper

Today I have created a 3D star.

First I watched a short video so I could understand what I should do.

Next I got a a long piece of paper so I could create the star. Afterwards I started to watch a video on how to make a 3D start using this video.

I found making the 3D star hard because I never experienced to make on .

  1. Tēnā koe Chisa,

Great work creating a fantastic looking 3D star out of paper! I like the way you have included a link to the instructional video in your post so other learners can watch and learn too. This was also my first time trying to make 3D stars and it helped when I slowed down the video.

Did you have a go at making 3D fingertraps? If you wanted to, you could try the Step it Up activity and post a video of yourself folding your star... or perhaps another origami object!

    Keep up the great work.

  2. Hi Chisa

A great challenge to have completed.I can see how this was difficult to make. I am going to look at the video link and have a go myself.

Great to see you continuing wit your Summer Learning Journey. I am enjoying following your progress.

  3. Hi Chisa I liked the way you watched the videos to work out how to do it. I found that some types of paper were easier to push the sides in to make the star. How many stars did you make in the end? A constellation.
