Summer Learning Journey | Ultraviolet

I have created my own UV Indicator for my home so that people in my house can see what they should do.

First I watched a video to show me what I have to do for this activity.

Next I watched a video about UV effects and reading more about UV effects.

Lastly I drew my own UV Indicator for my home.

I found this activity easy because I know how to use the tools to make things on Google Draw.

  1. Hi Chisa

What a great design and so useful in keeping us safe over summer. It would certainly help to know when to apply sunscreen.

Where in your house would the best place be to hang this?

It’s Shannon again from the Summer Learning Journey.

Your portable UV indicator is awesome and would be great to hang on your fridge so your family know when to ‘slip, slop, slap’! Thank you for sharing your design of the indicator you have made on Google Draw.

How will you decide which level the UV is at each day? Are you going to be responsible for moving the peg?

Ka pai for completing this activity Chisa.

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)
