Reading | South Pacific Beats | Interactive Summary

This week we created an interactive summary about an article about South Pacific Beats. First we learned the four different reading strategies to help us understand the article.

We learnt different types of reading strategies to help us understand the text. The reading strategies are: prior knowledge, skimming, scanning, and visualising. Prior knowledge is an information's about what you already know about. Skimming is when you are reading a book fast and understanding the text of the book. Scanning is when you are reading the first paragraphs in a book. Visualising is the step of the understanding of the text. 


Next we wrote a summary about the information's for each slide. After finishing the summary we wrote details about the main topics.

Then we learned vocabulary that were in the article. Vocabulary is explaining the definition of the word that someone or you don't know.
