Light makes things clear in dark places. Property is the characteristic of something.
One of the property's of light is that light can't show through opaque objects. The experiment showed that when I covered the light with an opaque object the light didn't go through the opaque object.
Another property is that light can also go through transparent objects like glass cup, and plastic bottles. The experiment showed that when I placed the glass cup it went through the glass because the glass was transparent (see through).
These experiments prove that light can not shine through something that is an opaque and that light can shine through transparent objects.
