Fractions are an object that is been cut into equal pieces. Decimals are a number that is less than 1. There are three different types of fraction, which are: improper fraction, proper fraction, and mixed number fraction. 

Improper fractions is unequal parts, because the numerator is bigger then the denominator.

Proper fraction is a fraction that is been cut into equal parts, because the denominator is bigger then the numerator.
