Metaphor

Metaphors are two things that are being compared for a similar quality by saying one object is the other. 

An example is its raining cats and dogs. The main object is the rain. The comparison object is the cats and dogs. The meaning is its raining heavily.

    Hey chisa i liked how you were describing things and telling what the picture is and saying thing in the picture like in action.I understand that metaphor is figurative language. I will like to know what a metaphor and figurative.
