Writing | Narrative

Narratives are made up stories. Narrative uses third person words and past tense. The structure of the narrative is TOPES.

To plan a narrative, first brainstorm as many ideas as possible, then chose one that is best.

Next write who the characters are going to be. Then write the problem that is going to happen in the story. Events is usually written to lead to the solution, the solution can be failed or succeeded

To write a narrative, write sentences and paragraphs using the ideas.

It is important to know how to plan a narrative so people can learn each process of it.

  1. Hello Chisa,
I like your narrative and enjoyed reading it. It is very interesting and entertaining. Your ending is very funny. I also made a narrative. How did you come up with this idea?

    1. Hello Farzana,
Thank you for your polite feedback. I came up with this idea by thinking of a fight, then I just thought of the people to add in my story and came up with this narrative. What were your ideas for the narrative?

    2. Hello Chisa,
That is a simple way you came up with the idea, but it is also affective. My ideas were Mahdi voting for National during elections, Mr Wong accidentally dropping his computer and Bella tripping over in assembly while going to get her certificate. Do you think it is important to have many different ideas and why?

    3. Hello Farzana,
I think it is good to have many different ideas so if one idea doesn't work out you can change the idea to another one instead of having to think of a new idea. This was a very interesting comment thread and I enjoyed learning new things.
