I learnt how to use inferring to find out fact and opinion.
First we talked about what fact and opinion is. Fact is something that happened, and opinion is why the reader thinks that happened.
Next we completed a character trait for the four characters in the Gruffalo story. The character trait tells who the character is and gives information about a characteristic and an example of that characteristic.
I enjoyed doing this activity. From this activity I know that inferring can be used to find out information that wasn't stated in a text.
