Writing | Conversations

LI. To write conversations.

A conversation is more than one person communicating with each other.

When people speak, their exact words are written within quotation marks (speech marks): ""

When a conversation is held, the next speaker is written on the line below the previous speaker (shown below). This is to clarify who is speaking.

A conversation doesn't need to be long and go on forever, but when creating a conversation in a story always remember to use quotation marks (speech marks).
