Simple Sentences

LI: To write meaningful and interesting simple sentences.

Simple sentences is one idea. An idea is a one action performed by one actor.

Simple sentence can be made by following steps that consider the actor, action, and description.

Simple sentences have one idea but don't need to be short.

    Great work. I can see that you've followed the thinking through. Your simile in the sun rise sentence was impressive too. I have some suggestions.

    With the sentence for the robin, if you say "flew onto" that means it landed on the bowl. Otherwise it means the bowl flew with the robin sitting inside, like we fly on planes.

    Lastly, the past tense of 'rise' is 'rose'. Your sentence would be, "the sun rose in the mountains like a god coming down to Earth". "Coming down to Earth" is a descriptor, so 'is' is not needed.
