Maths | Fraction

This week we have been reaping the fractions and fractions of sets that we learned over the term. We also talked about what is a fraction and what does fractions of set means. Fraction is a whole object that is divided into multiple equal pieces. A fraction of a set is a whole set of objects divided into equal sized groups of objects. We also used origami paper and fold it into halves and quarters then put beans or cubes to see how much we can divide them in the origami paper equally. When we put the beans or the cubes on the origami paper we all had to say some sentences like ''This example shows a set of 6 objects divided into halves. One half of 6 is 3.'' And we also did one more. Next we talked about unit fractions. We wrote in our book, to find the unit fraction of a set. I must divide the set by Fau's. How to find the unit fraction of a set.
