LI.to learn the basic grip on a Tennis Racket.
This week we had our first session for kiwi sport. The sport that we were playing was tennis. The coach that is going to coach us for the 6 weeks is Peter. We first did a warm up. In pairs 1 person dropped a ball to the other friend to catch it. This warmed up our reaetions. For the activity we were learning the forehand and the backhand technique. For the forehad grip one hand had to be holding the bottom of the rachet. This is our dominate hand. For the back hand two hands holding the racket. The dominate hand had to stay where it was for the forehand and the left hand was holding above the bottom hand.
I am a Year 7 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

Cybersmart | Smart and Legal
LI. To understand legal use of images.
This week we have been learning about legal and illegal. We did an activity that explain what legal and illegal images look like. Legal images are images that you can use and copy or attribute and put it in your work. Illegal images are images that you can look but not copy or attribute the image. In this activity we had to put 2 definitions, 2 websites, and 1 example for legal and 2 for illegal.

Kiwi Can | Respect
LI.to learn about respect.
This week for kiwi can we first talked about what respect means for us. We talked about what are some respect that we do at home and at school.
Engeriser:
For our energiser we played a game. In this game we had one leader in each group that goes to the kiwi can leader to see what we have to do, and tell the our group to listen what we hadve to do and copy it. For an example we had to do 2 clapes together. If we don't do it together we had to start again.
Activity:
For the activity we played a game called human knot, and we had to get into 2 groups. We had to hold the other persons tight, by making a circal. We had to figure out together as a group of how we can untangle and make the circal again. The kiwi can leader timed us of how long does it take to untangal it.

LI.to fill out the placess, where are we from, and finding the Maori word for some of the countries.
This week we had being working on translate different counties, and different places. We had to work as a group and research on Maori Dictonary.
